“There is divine beauty in learning… To learn means to accept the postulate that life did not begin at my birth. Others have been here before me, and I walk in their footsteps. The books I have read were composed by generations of fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, teachers and disciples. I am the sum total of their experiences, their quests. And so are you.”

Backbiting is like a gift
What is Backbiting? Some may say backbiting means talking ill about someone behind their back. So is saying something ill about someone infront of them not a sin? or not backbiting?
Prophet (P.B.U.H) defined backbiting as ”Speaking of someone in way they dislike”
So whether they are present infront of you or behind you, when you speak something ill about someone, in a way the donot like to be described or talked about then its backbiting.
Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) one day spoke of Sauda (another wife of the prophet) referring to her as ‘short’ , the Prophet (P.B.U.H) said ” Oh Aisha if what you said right now was to be dropped in a sea it will be as if the entire sea is contaminated “
Backbiting is therefore a very bad sin, Now how is Backbiting a GIFT?
Lets take an example, suppose A backbites about B then A’s good deeds will be given to B (i.e, B will be raised higher in good deeds) and if A is devoid of good deeds then his bad deeds will increase and B will be raised higher.
So in short when we backbite about someone we are gifting them our good deeds, keep this in mind!
Hassan Al Basri once said ” If I’m backbiting I shall backbite only about my parents as they are the only ones who are worthy enough to receive my good deeds and be raised higher ”
Too adorable <3

Through the olden days
After almost 3-4 years me and my cousins were forced to go to Balad , the oldest town of Jeddah -KSA. We all hate going there mainly because we don’t like the atmosphere and the people out there.
But walking through that place again made me feel miserable. I’ve been so caught up in this fast moving luxury filled life, enjoying as well as complaining about the things I don’t have and about the things I already have.
Walking through this place again all I saw were people in miserable condition surviving with so much of difficulty, most of them even being deprived of their basic needs.
I wish I could help them, help them have a better life, teach them about all the beauties of life, make them feel special….
But there was hardly anything I could do than donate them a peaceful smile from myself.
